Scott Erwin - West Linn resident, father of two children, and a person trying to do well

Hello. I’m Scott Erwin. I live in West Linn, Oregon. Currently, I’m seeking work with an employer who values me, and understands I am a human being who’s trying to do his best to raise two children in this ever-changing world.

I have a vast number of work and volunteer experiences that cannot be fully listed on a resume. In all, I’m a people person. I love to talk with people and help when I can. While I endeavor to have good relations with anyone I encounter, not everyone wants to have good relations. I understand and do what I can.

Even in a small town like West Linn, there are a number of unique people who can make for an unexpected and captivating conversation. I’m always willing to meet a new person and give them the full benefit of the doubt. This may be my ignorance, but despite the adversities I have encountered in my life I still wish to reach out to people and be of service when I can.

Thank you for being a person who isn’t quick to judge or blindly accepts information just because it’s there.

A three-day mountain hike & camp trip was really tough.

I’m so glad I did it!

Hello, I’m Scott Erwin. My diverse life experiences led me to be a financial planner in recent years. Unfortunately, it did not develop into the career I hoped. I am deeply to be of service. This has been my calling. I have worked in many roles in restaurants, driven taxi, was a radio DJ, and even a civil servant with the State of Oregon. Not sure what my next role will be in my career, but it will certainly be one where I distinguish myself.

See, I have kids. These are old pictures cuz…you know.

These are hard days for many of us. I’m feeling it too.

I have no extreme vision for where I’ll be in five years.

I am simply seeking a decent job with decent people who are respectful and communicate well.

And I will gladly do the same for you.

“Everyone has the power for greatness, not fame but greatness, because greatness is determined by service.”

— Martin Luther King, Jr.

Let’s talk about work, life, and what we can do together.
